Holy Trinity Springfield is:
- a Church of England Church and we hold orthodox Anglican beliefs subscribing to the historical Christian creeds which speak of our belief in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as well as the 39 Articles with their reminders of the great Reformation principles of ‘Christ Alone, Scripture Alone, Faith Alone.’
- we adhere to the Church of England Evangelical Council’s basis of faith which can be found here: https://ceec.info/basis-of-faith/
We run regular Christianity Explored and Hope Explored courses that will enable you to find out more about the Christian faith.
Christianity Explored is an informal and relaxed seven-week course. It’s for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life. It’s run by ordinary people local to you and is completely free. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible and you won’t be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like or you can just sit and listen.
Please contact the church office for details of the next Christianity Explored course.
There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us?
Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.
